Our Beginning
D&D in a Castle was the brainchild of brother and sister team Cameron and Tara Rout. Cameron spent his youth playing D&D and Tara was a history buff with experience creating anachronistic events. They launched their first castle in 2018 and the rest is well… history.

The resurgence of Dungeons & Dragons is only a surprise to those who did not grow up on the game. Those of us who did, understand that there are no other experiences on the planet that provide a space for social, analytical, and creative improvisation in a structured and accessible environment. Our flagship event seeks to make the most of that magical experience to create a vacation of a lifetime.
Running games is a craft unto itself. As more people take up the mantle of storyteller in their own games, we provide the opportunity to learn and explore this rewarding art.
